Memorial Day Weekend 2011

We had a great time this past Memorial Day weekend in Simpsonville, SC (near Greenville) as we participate in Freedom Weekend Aloft. This is always a fun festival that is close to home and is usually blessed with good flying weather. The weather cooperated for for us and the balloons were flying all four days... Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday morning, Sunday night, Monday Morning, and Monday night.

In addition to over 60 balloons flying; there were concerts, a car show arts & crafts, and much more. So stop by next year for a great time.

TV Happenins

Our balloon, Sun Dancer appeared on the hit TV show Drop Dead Diva on August 23, 2009 (episode 7). Actress Brooke Elliott (who star in the leading role as Jane Bingham) will be riding in our balloon as Gregory Harrison appears to be piloting... but really, our pilot Brigham is squated down in the basket to just make it look like Mr. Harrison is flying the balloon... that's show biz!

Also our pilot Brigham appeared as a juror on August 30 (episode 8).
